Hi, I’m Ryan Martin—a character designer with a passion for bold shapes, expressive silhouettes, and storytelling through design. Inspired by everything from classic 2D animation to modern TV and feature work, I love creating characters that feel alive, iconic, and ready to move.

I specialize in stylized, animation-ready designs, with a strong focus on personality, and appeal. Whether it’s developing original worlds or reimagining familiar archetypes, I aim to craft characters that are instantly readable and deeply memorable.

My work blends a love for vintage animation (think Hanna-Barbera and 90s Disney) with a fresh, contemporary edge. I’m always exploring dynamic poses, solid construction, and how costume, expression, and gesture can elevate a design.

Currently seeking opportunities in animation pre-production, particularly in character design for television or feature.
